The Uberbike SRAM DUB compatible bottom brackets have been specifically designed for use with either 68mm or 73mm BSA threaded MTB or Road bottom bracket frame types using SRAM DUB 28.99mm spindle diameter chainsets. The bottom bracket cups are CNC machined from lightweight but strong 6061 alloy and are available in a range of 8 anodised finish options. For bearings, we have selected to use Ceramic hybrid bearings as they offer several advantages over their steel bearing equivalents, the ceramic balls are perfectly spherical which provides a lower rolling resistance with an increase in service life, higher corrosion resistance, and lighter weight (ceramic balls are 40% lighter than steel), which makes them the optimal choice for mountain and road bike bottom brackets, with the 2 rubber seals acting as a barrier to help lock out dirt and ingress, also keeping the lubrication trapped inside.
