This adapter adds +20mm to your setup, making it compatible with flatmount forks that have a native 140mm mount when upgrading to a 160mm rotor. If your fork already uses a native 160mm mount and you wish to run a 160mm rotor, you’ll need a different adapter (see the alternative option linked HERE).
